The Hot Club of Urbana pays tribute to the musical legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Join us for the next installment of our Young Artist’s Studio, featuring local artist Anna Barnes. Youth participants will create their own seed collages through a guided exercise using seeds of all types and their own imaginations! Each participant will have a seed collage to take home at the end. All events in the series are free and open to the public. All supplies are provided. Dress comfortably and get ready to roll up those sleeves!

Welcome to 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten - a year-round reading program for children ages birth to five years. It's the fun, exciting, and free way to start children on the path to success.

One of the most reliable predictors of school success is being read to during early childhood. The Library would like to help support you as you prepare your child for kindergarten. Most importantly, sharing books with children promotes a lifelong love of books and reading.
