Flight Behavior

by Barbara Kingsolver

Dellarobia is a dissatisfied Appalachian farm wife on her way to a tryst with another man when she stumbles upon what appears to be a valley of silently burning trees. She takes the vision to be a sign from God. But when others begin to find out about it, they all have different ideas of what it means. This is a story about faith and perspective, taking place in a setting so strong that this small area in Appalachia is nearly a character unto itself.

With Bob Davies of the Champaign Urbana Paranormal Society.

This Halloween special event features chilling stories of sites that are rumored to be haunted. You’ll learn the mysterious history of places like the Moundsville Penitentiary, Trans Allegeny Lunatic Asylum, Rolling Hills Asylum, The First Unitarian Church, and The Cheney Mansion. And you’ll get the opportunity to judge the photographic and audio evidence for yourself. A fun event for skeptics and true believers alike!

Bob Davies(Lead Investigator)has been involved with the paranormal since 2002. He has investigated many well known haunted locations and has a passion for the paranormal and helping people. He founded the Champaign Urbana Paranormal Society, a local group of investigators that use scientific methodology to determine if a location is or is not haunted.
